Ground

Raw linen is stretched and primed by hand. The surface begins as pure possibility — no shortcuts at this stage.

Texture

Marble dust and plaster are built up in layers by hand. Each coat is left to dry before the next — days, not hours.

Pigment

Natural earth oxides and raw pigments are worked into the wet surface. Never a brush — the material decides where colour pools.

Shipped worldwide, flat-packed and fully insured. Each piece is wrapped by hand to protect the surface texture.

Cristina Luque

Artist · Texture Painter

Born in Seville, where sunlight hits whitewashed walls at angles that reveal everything. I started making texture work when I realised I wasn't interested in painting on surfaces — I wanted to build them. Now based between Seville and Dublin, each piece carries both.
